Thursday, April 29 (again)
So my phone just rang. At first I thought it was just Shawn so I wasn't worried about rushing to it (the computer and Hannah were on my lap and my phone on the counter). Then I glanced at the clock and realized it wasn't his normal time to call.... then I realized that it was almost time for GSN live! I threw the computer aside and leaped up to run to the phone (almost running over KaeLee) and answered the phone just in time. It said "This is GSN Live. Please stand by to go LIVE on the air"!!!! WHAT?!?!?!? ME?!?!?! I've never won ANYTHING! THen KaeLee kept trying to get the phone from me.... I sat back down and put the foot rest up to keep her away from it, but she ran over to the side of the chair and while I was trying to juggle Hannah, the chair and the computer, she grabbed it enough to put some buttons and before I knew it, I was no longer connected to GSN..... Nooooooooo.......!!!!!!!!! I was super upset. I then watched a couple minutes later the GSN live and the lady was playing for a brand new lap top (okay, so it wasn't a million dollars, but still.... that would be cool too!). I played along and I SO would have won!!! Ugh. Well, I guess I will keep trying and hopefully they call me again some other day. The one day I didn't have the phone right next to me too. BOO!
Anyway, I can't really remember what else I was going to write about earlier.... maybe it'll come back sometime.
KaeLee's eczema has come back on the back of her neck and a couple days ago she woke up from her nap crying pretty hard. When I was getting her dressed I noticed that it was covered in blood because she had stratched at it so bad. Poor thing. It had been gone for quite a while too, but I think it's back because of the weather changes we've been having... then yesterday she woke up in the morning with a hoarse voice. :( poor girl. She still has it today but doesn't have any other signs of being sick.
KaeLee's new thing is tickeling. It's so funny and makes me laugh hard whenever she does it! She tickles us and her dollies and Hannah..... hahaha
I go back to work on Sunday....BOO!! I'm glad to start on a Sunday though so that I don't have to leave the girls for three days in a row. And it'll be a good test run for Shawn since he hasn't been alone with them fir more than 2 hours..... he's in for a bucketload of fun! (if only you could hear the sarcasm that came with that...)
Shawn has still been working in the yard every night. He is almost done though. The front looks good so far! He has finished the big flowerbed and just the little one to do where tree is going. He has been working hard on it, that's for sure!
Well, I think Hannah is about ready to eat, so I best be going..... I'll be back soon.... Have a great weekend!

HOLY MACARONI!
Thursday, April 29
So Hannah is growing like a weed! She is officially in 3-6 month clothes! Mind you, she is not only 2 months!! HAHA! I think KaeLee started wearing 3-6 month clothes when she was closer to 4 months. KaeLee is in an akward stage where she is inbetween 12 and 18 month clothes. She is wearing 18 month tops, but she is a shortie and the 18 month pants are too long, but yet the 12 month pants are too small around the butt (built like her mama I guess.... short legs and a big butt... haha)
Ah crap, KaeLee just woke up from her nap.... I'll have to finish this later

Oh So Tired...!!!
Tuesday, April 26
Ah..... FINALLY it's naptime! KaeLee and Hannah both woke up at 5:00 this morning. Not a very happy mornig in the house, I must say. We were all very tired and cranky! KaeLee actually went to bed early last night, but got up at 11:15 and again at about 3. Something wasn't right with her, but I'm still not so sure what. I would say teething, but she has yet to have any signs of teeth....! And Hannah woke up at 12:15 and at 3:30.... so basically I got about 3 hours of sleep in 30-45 minute increments... haha.
Well, KaeLee is 15 months old today! Wow! And still no teeth! haha But like I told my mom the other night..... at least I don't have to worry about having to brush her teeth quite yet!
Shawn has been hard at work in the yard still. All that is left to do now is get the fill dirt, put down the landscape fabric, plant the flowers and lay the bark down. Whoo-Hoo. I went out and helped a bit yesterday and brought KaeLee out with us (Hannah was fast asleep inside...) and boy did KaeLee LOVE being outside! She kept trying to walk down the sidewalk and finally I followed her for a while, but that girl could walk for miles and miles! My goodness! And she only put one rock in her mouth (well, she licked a bunch of rocks, but only put one actual whole one in her mouth...) Disgusting. We then walked down to the mailbox and visited with the neighbors next to us and a few houses down. She met a few new doggies too and loved them! She wouldn't cross the street though, which is good, I suppose.... So I had to pick her up when it was time to cross the street. haha. She really liked all the flowers too. she kept pointing at them and petting them, saying "wow" and "oooooohhhhh". It was pretty cute. She must get it from her dad because I could care less about those things... haha.
So I've said before that my job sucks and I'm not so thrilled about it and it doesn't even pay very well.... BUT.... I have to say, it's definitly the place to be employed when you have a baby! We got our bill in the mail today and I was just very grateful that I work there. I get a 10% discount for being an employee, and then my insurance pays 80% of the bill, and then I only have a $1000 out of pocket maximum for the year. So my share of a more-than-$10,000 bill is only $1000! Amazing! And anything else I have to have done this year is free! Whoo-Hoo! I told Shawn that what we should have done was have KaeLee towards the beginning of January, not the end.... and then have Hannah in December.... haha. THen it would be completely free! So, I really don't want to continue working there, but I suppose it would be wise to work there until I am done having babies at least! (Which will be a maximum of one more... haha.)
I don't remember if I posted this or not, but Hannah has been smiling LOTS since 5 weeks..... especially in the morning and early part of the day! But come evening time, she is a BEAR! She cries A LOT until it's bedtime for her (which is sometime between 10 and 12....). It's very ear piercing! Gives me an instant headache, that's for sure!
We were going to go for a walk this afternoon, but seeming how both girls are sleeping and it's almost 3:00 already, not sure that's gonna really happen.
So I am way excited about something I discovered that has not only decreased my stress level a bit, but will save us lots of money! I did a menu plan for the next four weeks (well, 3 weeks becuase I've already gone through a week of it). It makes it so much easier than trying to decide for 2 hours every night what to have for dinner! Shawn and I can never seem to choose anything and it is just frustrating, annoying and stressfull! But this last week has been great! I don't have to wonder what I can make or try and figure out what there is to eat because it's already written down what we're having and i know I have all the ingrediants to make it! Whoo-Hoo! And it keeps me from grocery shopping too much and I only buy what I will need for those recipes instead of buying what items I think I may need and then figuring out what to make from it all.....
Okay, well, my eyes cannot stay open any longer. I think I will go take a nap on the couch while they are both still sleeping..... Sorry. I can't really think too straight and can't remember what I was going to post about. Here's just a couple of pictures to keep you happy.... :)

Nicer weather.... hoping it lasts!
Sunday, April 18
Well, another week has passed.... Hannah will be 6 weeks old on Tuesday! Wow! I have my 6 week check up on Wednesday. I weighed Hannah today and she weighed 10 pounds! WoW! I think she will catch up to KaeLee in no time at all! I haven't pulled out KaeLee's chart to see where she was at 6 weeks, but I'm pretty sure she wasn't anywhere close to 10 pounds!
This week has gotten a little easier with the both of them. Hannah has taken a nap at the same time as KaeLee (and allowed me to put her down) TWICE this week! This has allowed me to clean out and organize both the pantry and the closet underneath the stairs! My pantry looks so bare now! I think we need to go grocery shopping now and filler up.... hahaha
On Thursday we went to Konner's very first track meet! And his only home meet. It was super nice outside! He did really good too! He got first in his heat of the hurdles, tied for first in the high jump, got second in the mile and his relay team got third. It makes me miss track. I wish I wasn't so old and brittle.... Then maybe I could run (okay, even walk fast....) without being in pain and my bones cracking.... haha
On Friday, it was another really nice day, so we went for a walk to the park again. This time I put Hannah in the double stroller instead of the front pack and it was MUCH nicer! Of course, the stroller was heavier to push and harder to navigate since it is so wide.... but it was still way better! It was quite the walk though! Instead of staying more in one place, we actaully had to go walking a lot more this time because Hannah would only stay sleeping if she was on the move. Needless to say, my bones were crackin and butt muscles appeared to be torn... haha. I am so out of shape, it's not even funny! Oh, how I wish I could be in the shape I was in high school! Then I could go practice hurdles with Konner! hahaha
Shawn has been working in the yard all week after work, digging up all the weeds and getting rid of all the rocks. We went to Lowes today to pick out edgestone and flowers. Ugh. I hate gardening. Everything about it, I hate. And I hated going to Lowes.... there were puddles everywhere outside in the garden area and it was kinda chilly and KaeLee was getting ansy.... I was annoyed that I had to be there. But Shawn wanted me to help pick this stuff out, so I went. And then he didn't even like anything that I pointed out or any of my ideas.... so why was I there?? I don't know. For moral support apparently. And have I ever mentioned that we don't shop well together?? Well, we don't. I believe this was the first time since Christmas shopping that we have gone to a store together.... haha. And it will probably be about that long again till our next outing again. haha.
We made it to church again this week.... 3 weeks in a row! wow! And KaeLee loved the kids world again! In fact, last week and this week she got mad when we put her in the car afterward... she didn't want to leave! At least we know she's having fun that way!
Well, I posted a few more pictures. I finally got KaeLee's coloring picture up! KaeLee enjoys watching Barney still and has also taken a liking to Veggietales this week. Another thing she loves to do recently is put all of her books up on the couch, then crawl up there with her dollies and read to them. I don't know who is enjoying the stepstool more.... me or her! haha.
Hannah is still crying..... she seems to do that WAY too much. I have a migraine 24/7 with her! She is either crying, sleeping or eating.... oh wait... she cries while she sleeps AND while she eats.... *sigh* Hope she gets over this soon!
Hopefully this week will still be really nice. Tomorrow is supposed to be 74, but then it's supposed to rain the rest of week I think. I'd love to be able to go for a walk and go to the park every day! Maybe that way, I can grease my bones up a bit and begin to get back into shape. Maybe I should just sign up for a half marathon or something and then I'd have to get in shape and get ready for it. Hmmm....
Anyway, I hope you all have a great week! We will talk with you all later. Oh, and P.S..... Mom... if you read this, I am waiting for you to call me! Thought maybe you would have called last night... then I thought FOR SURE you would've called tonight.... but nope... So, yeah... I'm just waiting. waiting. and waiting some more... :)

Grass, Bark, and Trails... Oh My!
Well, we finally adventured out of the house on Wednesday to go to the park! I had Hannah in the front pack and KaeLee in the stroller. Oh man, I was so sore the next day! That front pack is super nice, and Hannah falls asleep in it, but it can really start to put a strain on your back after a while!
Well, KaeLee loved the park. I started her off on the slide since the baby swing was occupied. I don't know how much she really enjoyed the slide though. I wish that I didn't have Hannah on me so that I could have taken her on my lap down the bigger ones. Then we went on the swing for a while. I think she liked it, but she had quite the death grip on it and may have been a bit afraid of heights. She owuld not look up at me and would only hold on for dear life while looking down at the dirt. After the swing, I let her walk around and explore the bark. There was one other mom there with her 2 year old son. KaeLee started to pick up pieces of bark and bring them to the other mom. She did this about 20 times in a row. I then thought we could be here all day doing this and the other mom is probably getting tired of this game, so I brought her over to the grass and let her run around. She loved being free to roam wherever she wanted. Her "living room" (of grass) was endless and huge!!
We walked along the paved trail for a while. I didn't really like to though, because she was trying to run and I just kept picturing a face plant, ending with a face covered in blood. I'm not ready to deal with that just yet. Well, ever, really. There were a couple of peaople walking with their dogs, and one of them would pass us, going the opposite ways we were walking, and KaeLee would get so excited and point at them, then she'd turn around and try to start following them (they were going very fast though). The cutest part was that she would chase after them saying "ruff! ruff! ruff!" haha. That was the first time I had heard her say that. It was super cute. Then there were a couple of boys playing basketball and she watched them forever. They set the ball down at one point to take a break, and KaeLee was all over it, trying to run after it. She really wanted that ball!!
She also liked the dandilions and was exploring those. Then a guy was running on the trail and passed us going the opposite way. He said Hi to KaeLee and she turned and was watching him run. Then she put her hands in the air and said "WOW!" It was quite funny! Then there was a guy mowing the park's lawn and all the soccer fields and school grounds.... I don't know how many of you have seen these lawn mowers, but they are ginormous!! They are big and round and cool looking! The guy on the tractor was actually the husband of the lady that had the daycare I went to growing up. He recognized me and stopped to talk to KaeLee for a minute. I think she was a little taken back by the huge tractor and kept her distance.
She definitly loved the park and didn't really want to go back home. We'll have to go back soon. Thursday I was way to sore and Friday was way too windy, so hopefully the weather will be nicer next week. I'm glad we left when we did because it started to rain a little on the way home. And then I dropped her brand new sunglasses on the way home and lost them!! Ugh! I just bought those too!!
Yesterday, we made a trip to Fred Meyer and stopped to visit my step mom for a little bit. While at Fred Meyer, I decided that I would get KaeLee a treat and we went on a hunt for some jumbo coloring crayons. Well, they apparently don't make jumbo ones anymore, only "large", so I settled for large. Later, at home, I sat her down at her picnic table and we colored for the first time!! She loved it! She didn't really get it at first, but then started to get the hang of it and she was excited at all the colors. It was super cute. I got a picture of her coloring and took a picture of the end product so I will have to post them. unfortunately I forgot to tak the camera to the park, so I have no pictures of her trip there. Boo!! Well, it's technically not her first trip to the park, but she wasn't able to do anything last summer when we went..... except sit with me while we swang.
Anyway.... the weekend is finally here! Shawn is going to spend some time outside today mowing the yard and pulling some weeds. Other than that, I'm not sure what we'll do. I did buy a little step stool for KaeLee yesterday that Shawn needs to put together today. This way she can get up onto the couch on her own and I won't have to pick her up every time. It gets quite old.
Hannah turned one month old yesterday! I really can't believe that it's been a month already. KaeLee has added a few words to her vocab. She now says thank you and bless you. Still no signs of teeth. Hannah is now in 0-3 month clothes. the newborn are too small now, but the 0-3 month and 3 month stuff and too big for her. So she looks silly in whatever she wears. She needs to grow just a bit more so they don't look so baggy and silly on her. :) But she is definitly growing and getting lots longer. And her eyelashes may just catch up to KaeLee's. They have been growing like crazy and starting to look pretty long! Last night she slept from 11-5:15! Whoo-Hoo! Then she went back to sleep and is still sleeping now, at 8:30. KaeLee, on the other hand, doesn't know how to let us sleep in a little bit and got up at 6:30 this morning! Ugh.
Well, I am going to go eat some breakfast before Hannah wakes up and want breakfast of her own. Have a great weekend everyone!

Happy Belated Easter!
Tuesday, March 6
Happy belated Easter everyone! Hope you all had a great easter! We sure did! It was a memorable day, with KaeLee having her first easter egg hunt! We had a very busy day (though, on paper, it doesn't really look like it). We went to a 9:00 church service at Stone church in Yakima. We didn't go to the church we were going to out here in East Valley because their service was at 10:30. We needed a 9:00 service so that we could come home and give the girls a nap before going to my mom's house for easter lunch.
We may just end up going to Stone Church more. Though, starting in May, I will have to work every weekend.... but they have a great children's ministry. It's very large, too. It's called kids world. We took KaeLee to the toddler classroom, especially for one year olds. It was called the fish room. It was super cute. When you get there, they print out a name tag for KaeLee and a code card for us, and the only way she is allowedl to leave the room is if we pick her up and turn in the code card that matches her nametag. It's nice and reassuring, security-wise. They also give us a pager and if they need us, it will vibrate. Pretty cool, I thought. They take kids birth to 12 years, but I didn't really want to leave Hannah there. She ended up just being asleep the entire time anyway. In fact, she slept from about 8:30 to noon in her carseat. The service was good and the best part was picking up KaeLee and seeing how much fun she had. I'm sure she has missed going to daycare, so the socialization with the other kids was good for her. When we dropped her off, I opened the gate to the play area for her and she zoomed off immediately and went to play with the toys and one of the volunteers. She sure didn't care that we were leaving. haha. Definitely no attachment issues with her. In fact, not last friday, but the friday before, me and the girls went to visit Pam (my step mom... she has friday's off) and my sister Nikki and her daughter Layla were there too. KaeLee doesn't get to Nikki too often, but she was sure attached to her for some reason. As soon as Nikki got there, KaeLee went running up to her with her arms out, and if Nikki left the room for any reason, KaeLee would start crying. And of course, KaeLee didn't want to leave and kept running back to Nikki with her arms out. So Nikki had to carry her out to the car and put her in the carseat. Weird.
Anyway, so after church (which was very hectic to get everyone ready and out the door in time) we came home and put KaeLee down for a nap. (Hannah was still asleep in her carseat). Shawn and I got stuff ready for my mom's, exchanged our baskets for each other and got things picked up. Then Hannah woke up, so I fed her, then we had to wake KaeLee up so we could get to my mom's by 1. Again, we were rushing rushing rushing. So we went to my mom's and had Easter lunch. It was actually the first Easter meal I have ever eaten around the dinner table. Haha. Usually there are about 30 people there and it's buffet style and free-for-all when it comes to finding somewhere to sit. haha. But this year, we had a pretty small gathering with the Heilman side of the family.
KaeLee had her first easter egg hunt and had lots of fun! Pretty sure it was her first time running around on the grass. haha. It sounds as though we are horrible parents, not letting our kids outside. Well, let me just remind everyone that she didn't start walking until winter time and of course we're not gonna go outside and run around when it's freezing cold. Yes, when she's older I will allow it. I'm not a complete winter bum. :) On easter, when I said this was the first time she's ran around on grass, my sister in law looked at me like she was in complete shock.
KaeLee took a few tumbles and ate some dirt, but overall she loved it! She didn't want to stop running around on the grass after we were done hunting for eggs. She didn't do too well on the hilly part of the grass, but she didn't seem to mind tumbling over. (I, of course, was like, "oh no! Her dress is getting dirty!".... can you tell I'm not the out-doorsy type of person.... haha)
After the egg hunt, we visited some more and my aunt, uncle and cousin showed up. I haven't seen my cousin Brad for a while, since he lives in Colorado, so that was nice. KaeLee sure enjoyed him. She had a ton of fun with him and was cracking up at him. After visiting a while longer, we finally came home and crashed. Well, Shawn and I did, anyway. We were wishing we could just wave the magic wand and both girls would be fast asleep for the whole night. But we had to give KaeLee her bath and put her to bed and wait around till midnight for Hannah to fall asleep..... ugh.
They were perfect little angels on Easter, on happy and giddy and smiley.... and then Monday came. And they became screaming terrors all day long and gave me a throbbing migraine and my patience was thrown out the window and I woke up the next morning with 3 big o zits on my face from all the stress and insanity they had caused me that day. Oh man. It was truly bad.
Today has been 200% better! I think I have only yelled at KaeLee once and have only begged Hannah to stop crying once. Awesome! It's after 5:00 already. wow. I should probably get some dinner started. This blog has been a work in progress all day. I am glad to have it almost done and out of the way. Though, I probably won't actually get it finished until during American idol, after KaeLee goes to bed. I think Hannah is about to wake up. Ugh. So much for getting dinner started just yet.
I called the daycare yesterday and told them I will be starting work again in May and they said that KaeLee's spot has been taken and I have to put her on the waiting list. Urgh. So I'm not sure what we're gonna do until they have an open spot. I asked her how long it is, but she couldn't tell me cuz she didn't have the list with her. She said that fall is the best time because they transition kids up to the next level and that usually means there will be openings. Are you kidding me? Fall? It better not take that long. Ugh. That only added to my high stress day I was already having yesterday. Shoot. Which reminds me that I was supposed to call my insurance today, dang it!
Well, I guess I should get going. I put some pictures up of Easter and a few random ones from the last couple weeks. Enjoy! We sure have cute kids, that's for sure.... :) (not to brag, or anything....)
