I have decided that I am not superwoman. I cannot do it all. Actually, I can not do anything as of right now. I left work at 10:00 this morning, went home and slept from 10:30 to 1:30, went and got KaeLee from daycare and have not been able to do anything since. Do I need to do anything? Um, only if people want something to eat tomorrow, somewhere to sit, and a clean place in which to do it in.....
but I think I have to face the facts. The house will not be clean. The food will still be in the fridge, waiting to be prepared and the decorations will still be in the box. I suppose people can sit on the floor.... since the chairs are still in the truck and are filthy.
I hit a wall today. Emotionally and physically. I can not function what-so-ever! Literally, I am like a blob. I get up to do something and 2 minutes later, I feel dizzy and am dripping with sweat. Nothing will get accomplished this way, so I have decided to stop. The cake needs decorating, the cupcakes need to be made and decorated, the eggs to be peeled, the house cleaned, the salads made, the cheese cut, the veggies washed..... the list goes on and on.... but I'm done. I am physically spent and fear bedrest is the next step. So for now, I will attempt to eat something, take some tylenol and go to bed.
I am so glad I don't work again till Thursday. KaeLee better be up for taking lots of long naps these next few days because I am going to need them right along with her. Well, it's off to find something to eat... wish me luck that it'll stay down.

I need a mommy support group....
So before I start.... I have to say, I am absolutely CRACKING UP right now! I am watching the Biggest Loser from last night. This ribbon challenge is absolutely hilarious! The pink and the white team are especially funny!
Anyway, I just had to blog about KaeLee's day since I don't have anyone to talk to during the day....! I need a mom's group or something.... all the people I normally talk to have normal day jobs and I can't talk to them till evening because they are all busy at work and can't talk! BOO!! I have to work during the day too, but it's so nice to get off at 2!
So anyway, Shawn called me this morning after he dropped KaeLee off at daycare and he said they were putting her in the toddler room today. They asked if he brought any shoes for her, which of course he didn't because we never do..... they were going to go outside today! I was pretty iffy about this because I knew KaeLee had a runny nose and the cold weather would just make it run even more! Also, I am stuck in an office with no windows all day so I had no idea what the weather was like. Then about an hour later, the daycare calls me and asks if KaeLee can have chicken strips and fries for lunch today. I wanted to laugh so hard! First off, she has no teeth and second.... I'm pretty sure an 11 month old doesn't need to indulge in french fries! Anyway, I said no, so they just gave her a baby foods lunch.
So I went to go pick her up and she had just woken up from a near 2 hour nap!! I was ecstatic!! And Lisa (on of the toddler teachers) told me that she sleep on a toddler mat without using a pacifier and she didn't have to rock her to sleep or anything, she just laid down and she rubbed her back for a couple minutes! I am AMAZED and SO PROUD!!! What a big girl! And she said that at lunch time, she ate at the table (they have a little kid table with the little chairs...) and she didn't sit in a highchair or booster. (they do have buckles on the chairs so she wouldn't fall out...) Another proud moment!! Makes me want to lower her high chair and push it up to the table and eat with us. They also said that she loved playing outside (they had shoes she was able to borrow). This makes me super excited for warm weather when we can walk down to the school and the park and play on the toys and swing! I'm especially excited about the swing because I know she will LOVE it!
Another thing that makes me like the toddler room so much is that it is more of a play room and has bigger-kid toys in it to play with. They said she played in the little kitchen most of the day She loved playing with the dishes and the play food and was opening the oven and putting food in and everything..... HOW CUTE!! I wish I could've watched her play! It makes me want to get her a play kitchen.... how much fun would that be! Too bad we would have no where to put it! haha.
Anyway, I just wanted to share how proud I was of her today.... since Shawn still hasn't called me back yet. I'm sure he's busy at work, but I am so anxious to tell him all about her day! I know he'll be so proud of her too!!
Lately, she has been loving her room.... she likes to decide to randomly climb up the stairs and go play in her room. All her stuffed animals (except all her dollies, of course) are in there, along with most all of her books. She likes to read all her books and explore her "new area" of her room. This is all fine and dandy.... but can I just say "HOW BORING!!!!" And I mean for us, not her. It's either me or Shawn that has to sit up there with her. Ugh. It's so boring to watch her flip through book after book. And there is only so much picking up and cleaning I can do in her room. And even though she wants to be in her room, if you go into a different room, she whines and follows you. And if you were to try and go downstairs and let her stay up in her room, forget it! She will just throw a fit because you left her alone! Shawn would say that she is just like her mommy..... because he makes fun of me that I like to be in the same room as him, but don't necessarily need to be entertained by him. I just like the company, silent or not.... and that is what KaeLee's like. She could be playing by herself wonderfully, but then when you get up to go to the bathroom, she has to immediately follow you and be in there with you! Hahaha.... so anyway, I'm glad she likes her room, but my goodness it is BORING!
Well, I think that's it for now. I should probably start cleaning the house or something.... Luckily, Megan called me last night and asked me if I wanted to switch her shifts today and tomorrow, so I get off at 2 instead of 6:30! Whoo-Hoo!! That'll be really helpful with getting ready for KaeLee's party on Saturday.... I'm not so stressed out anymore. But that could be bad because I'll probably procrastinate and stress out Friday anyway..... haha. Anyway, I will hopefully see you on Saturday.... otherwise I will update up with some pictures and stories of her first cake experience! Happy Wednesday everyone!

It's been a while....
For anyone who actually reads this..... sorry I haven't been on in a while! Apparently life has just been passing by.... there's not anything too exciting to write about, but I figured I should probably do an update, eh?
Well, a week from tomorrow, our baby girl will be ONE year old! WOW! I can't believe how fast the year has gone by! We have her birthday bash this weekend! I think about how many people will be trying to cram into house and it is getting kind of stressful.... Too bad it's not warm outside so that we could filter some out that way.... hahaha.... I guess we will just see how it goes. The crappy part is that I have to work Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.... so I foresee some long nights ahead of me in order to be ready. It shouldn't be too bad, but I just cringe at thinking about how sore I was after Christmas....
As far as Hannah is doing, she is quite the mover! I thought KaeLee moved a lot, but my goodness, Hannah moves 10 times more! At my last appointment, Dr. Harrignton said that she is head down, which is good. I have another appointment on Wednesday.... I am going every 2 weeks now and I believe after my next appointment I will be going every week! We're getting closer! I am 33 1/2 weeks right now. I think. I can never seem to keep track! I have been working on Hannah's room wuite a bit lately and I think we have pretty much everything now. I made some art for her walls and framed it yesterday. I just gotta hang it up. And we got letters for above her crib to spell out Hannah and I painted them purple today. Shawn got the molding up last weekend and it looks really good. He's especially proud of it because he picked it out on his own.... apparently I was feeling especially trusting that day.... hahaha. I was ify about it when he brought it home, but now that it is up in the room, it looks very good. We are expecting arrival of the crib sometime this week or possibly next. Hopefully we will get it in time for KaeLee's party so we can show y'all her nursery. I have a few random things to buy still for Hannah, and of course, stack up on diapers, and then we will be all set! Whoo-Hoo!!
On Saturday, we went down to Tri-Cities and got KaeLee's one year pictures taken! They turned good! We got them ordered and, unfortunately, they won't be here till next week! BOOOOO!!! But as soon as I get them, I will post them for everyone. She was such a good girl! She absolutely LOVES the camera! She was hilarious! One of the pictures, the lady spelled out "ONE" if front of her, and KaeLee grabbed the zero and we got a picture of her holding the zero in front of her face, smiling through it... it's quite cute! I entered her in the Regis and Kelly's Beautiful Baby contest today.... so we are going to need your votes on March 1st!! I know she SHOULD win, but there are thousands of babies and I don't think that everyone who is going to vote will look through them all..... so I want to spread the word as much as possible for people to vote for her! I will keep you updated on when and how to vote when the time gets closer! First prize gets on the cover of parenting magazine, a year supply of gerber foods and gets $75,000 for college! Whoo-Hoo!! Even the top ten runners up get $25,000 for college! That would be just fantastic! I know it's a long shot, and I never enter contests, but KaeLee is just so darn cute!
Anyway, not much else has happened..... the last couple of weeks haven't been too eventful. Shawn is still working a lot and I can't wait till Hannah's born so that he can stay at home for a while with us all! Hopefully they get some big jobs and Shawn's stress level can go down a bit. My work is going to be very hectic next week! We start a new computer program, so the first couple of weeks with it will be horrible, trying to iron out the kinks and trying to learn our way around it. And we will have to start going up to patient rooms instead of just calling them. I am definitely NOT looking forward to this change! Ugh! Especially for my last month of pregnancy! I will be waddling around, up and down to the different floors, walking the entire hospital twice a day, while lugging around a laptop. I can see my poor swollen feet now!!
Hopefully I will see a lot of you this Saturday! Open House from 12-4.... you don't have to stay the whole time... but you are more than welcome to stop by and grab a plate of food! I don't know that I will write again this week.... I will be a little busy.... but I am sure I will next week and I will have some new pictures to post! Right now, I need to go take care of a rotten little thing upstairs that is NOT being very good and won't go to sleep. No.... correction.... she WAS asleep until I set her in her crib at 1:20! Then she fell asleep again at 2:00 after I went back up there, but same thing..... then I finally gave up and brought her downstairs at 2:30. She was good for about 5 minutes, and then she was very clingy and whiny and tired.... So finally at 3:05, I went back upstairs (this up and down the stairs thing is KILLING me, by the way!) and she fell asleep at 3:10.... and once again was up and standing in her crib as soon as I set her down! And now it is 3:30 and she is whiny and talking in her crib and I heard her throw her pacifier out of the crib. Ugh. She is being very annoying and I don't have much patience left for the rest of the day! I also hear her sneezing a bunch, so I am sure she is covered in snot and is all slimy! I think she is finally getting a tooth in! And I think that's why her nose has been runny the last couple days....
Anyway, I will catch up to you later.... it's 3:30..... only about 3 hours till Shawn gets home from work..... it'd be nice if KaeLee would fall asleep sometime soon and sleep for most of that! Then I am going up to my mom's tonight to watch the Bachelor.... KaeLee free!! Whoo-Hoo!! Have a great weekend everyone and hopefully we'll see you Saturday!

For 2010....
2010.... a new year... a new beginning? I wish. But all those issues and problems just follow us right into the new year. I wish that starting a new year meant starting over, problem-free.
As I look back onto 2009, it was a great year indeed! Of course, who could complain with having giving birth to the most beautiful daughter in the world! I truly believe that if she wasn't born this last year, my outlook of the whole year would be completely different. Nothing too exciting happened and everything that did happen, revolved around her. We had a lot of firsts this year because of her. And I have already forgotten a lot of them, so it will be a whole new experience with Hannah this year!
Let's see..... Our year in review:

Kory turned 18!
We bought a new TV

November:

Rick, Sharon, Jen and Meg visit
December:
Went to Camano for a weekend
Had a week of "vacation" from work
Spent the weekend before Christmas in Cashmere
Spent Christmas eve at my Aunt's house in Gleed
Spent Christmas day at home, my mom's, the Sauve's, and the Beaudry's
Spent the weekend after Christmas at home with the Stephensons and the Garretts
Well, that's about it. When looking at it, if you take KaeLee and Hannah out of the picture, it's really not that exciting. Pretty boring, actually.
So here's to a new year with some excitement, a healthy and happy baby, financial freedom, stress-free work environments, a clean house, no getting pregnant, losing 50 pounds, orgnanizing all our files, getting a large tax return, and maybe doing something fun and spontaneous.....
We wish you all the best of luck in this new year. May you all stay happy and healthy and experience something new and exciting this year! We love you all and look forward to another year with you all! Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
