Getting back to basics and reminding ourselves that love really is all that we need. Materials are nothing and you cannot take them with you. One of my favorite sayings since habing KaeLee and Hannah is:

"Children will not remember you for the material things you provided but for the feeling that you cherished them."

I need to remind myself that constantly since they have been born because I feel like I want to buy them all the "cool" things and buy them so many clothes, when in reality, they could care less what they wear and they would rather play with carboard boxes and tupperwear and my spices and canned goods. Haha. I have never been a shopper, but spending money on the girls is so easy! I have to say, I have gotten WAY better abou it though (despite what Shawn may say..... haha)

Anyway, random blog, I know, but I am listening to KLOVE online here at work and this song came on and I wanted to share. :) Enjoy. Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
