Happy Belated Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving has come and gone... a very busy and fun filled week! We spent the day at my mom's with the Sauve side of the family. We were missing a few, but most of us were there. We ate way too much food and a great time. My little brother and my younger cousins were making videos of themselves and then were pretty amused by watching them in both slow motion and in high speed on the computer. I have to say... it was pretty funny.

I decided to not go out shopping on Friday.... the first year ever that I haven't gone to stand in line an hour before the store opens! I did get some shopping done online though and am pretty close to being done! Rick, Sharon, Jen and Megan came over on Friday for the day and we went out to lunch.... we tried to go to the new Bob's Burgers, but the line was way out the door! We ended up going to Miners, which was still WAY packed, but at least there was an empty table! We had a lot of fun and KaeLee especially enjoyed seeing them! Definitely wish we all lived closer to each other!

My parents, Kory and Konner came over for a game night Friday night and we spent the rest of the night playing Mad Gab, Taboo, and Apples to Apples. It was fun.... especially since I was on the winning team for most of the time! :)

The next three weeks are pretty busy... not really looking forward to them really. Other than going to Camano next weekend. Otherwise, I work everyday.... yuck. Hannah's crib bedding came this week too! YAY!! I have the room all cleared out and th paint picked out, now I just have to find time to go get the paint and paint the room..... not sure when that'll happen...! I was hoping to do it sooner than later, but as I mentioned.... the next 3 weeks aren't lookin so hot.... then it's Christmas! Owell.... it'll happen eventually I suppose. I got a rug for Hannah's room today too.... so excited to put it all together in her room!

Oh, I also found out some pretty upsetting news this week.... The place where we did KaeLee's 4-D Ultrasound last year is out of business and it was the only place on the east side of the state that does them! It sucks that we won't get a video of Hannah and that the next time we see her will be when she's born! :( I was pretty upset.

Well, I posted a few pictures... I wasn't all that great at taking pictures at Thanksgiving or when the Cox's visited. I'll have to steal some pictures from Megan... I know her and Sharon took some. Anyway, here are a few updated pictures. And a picture of my belly at 26 weeks. Hannah's making my stomache look like conehead! She really make it come to a point... it looks pretty silly. 26 weeks pregnant.... one week from my 3rd trimester!

Another week gone already....

Well, again, another week as gone by, but not much to blog about. We both worked all week and KaeLee went to Daycare all week.... that's about it. I am tired of daycare though. I know KaeLee loves it, but I don't love it so much. She never gets a nap at daycare and she doesn't hardly eat anything when she's there either. The ladies there always say that she is always happy and loves to play with her friends. I get frustrated because even though she is a happy baby and is never really fussy, it doesn't mean she doesn't need a nap! She needs a nap just as much as the whiny, fussy babies! It's frustrating. *sigh* So on the days she is at daycare, she gets one nap a day (if we're lucky) and that's only because she either gets her nap at 2, when I get off, or she gets a nap in the morning before I leave for work. No nap at daycare though. Urgh.

ANYWAY..... I can't believe November has already flown by.... 4 days till Thanksgiving and only 34 until Christmas! Wow! I'm pretty excited.... that means it's only getting closer till Hannah arrives! And I believe we have chosen a middle name. Hannah Nicole. I know, I know, this sounds much too close to Anna Nicole (Smith), but hopefully KaeLee's generation won't know who she is. I can't believe I am already 25 weeks along! I am almost in my third trimester! (27 weeks begins 3rd trimester). The bad part is that is when I'll gain most of my weight and I have already gained plenty so far.... thank you very much Hannah. I'll have to post a prego picture sometime soon.... my belly is quite large! Much larger, I think, that it was with KaeLee!

Shawn put most of the Christmas lights up today. Kory is home for the week and he stopped by today to visit and helped him out some. I decided I'd post a few pictures tonight. There's not a whole lot since we really haven't taken too many lately. Sometime this week she will have another photo shoot for her 10 month pictures! Wow! 10 months already! She's going to be 1 before we know it!

This week will be a busy one. I work Monday and Tuesday but gave my shift on Wednesday away so I could stay home and cook for Thanksgiving! I am quite excited for all the food. This year we are spending thanksgiving at my mom's. The Sauve side of the familys turn this year. Then Friday, I will begin Christmas shopping. Yes, I used to be one of those crazy early bird shoppers who would get up at the crack of dawn and go stand in line.... but this year I refuse (okay, I might go to Shopko if they have anything I really need to get). I found out last year that many of the black friday deals are also available online. So I will be home bright and early to go shopping online.... :) YAY! Now I just have to figure out what I want to get people..... that might help a bit.

Tomorrow, Rick, Sharon and the girls are coming to visit.... I think. We haven't heard from them today, but I believe the plan is still a go.... we'll find out tomorrow I guess. Other than that, no other plans. Maybe I will finish cleaning the bathroom and maybe Shawn will finish putting up the lights... hmmm.... or maybe we'll just have a lazy day? I got a super sore throat last night and it is absolutely horrible today! I hate sore throats.... I hope it feels better soon! I can't really take anything for it either except for cough drops, which we are out of.... owell. Well, once again, I managed to write a lot for not having anything to say.... hope you all have a great week and a very happy thanksgiving! We love you all! Enjoy the few pictures. It's hard to get a video because we don't have just one long hallway she can run down, she has a lot of obstacles in the way so we are constantly having to turn her around..... Too bad the wheels didn't spin the other way too like the stroller or something!

Wow, this week has flown by! I figured I should probably write a new entry....

I had Hayden 3 days this week... her and KaeLee are playing a lot better now, except KaeLee is a lot more excited to play with her I think. She is nothing but smiles when she wakes up from nap and sees that Hayden is here. She will be a GREAT big sister! She absolutely loves other kids and I know she will love her baby sister a lot as well!

She has been pointing a lot more and getting so good at waving. Her personality is definitely emerging. She experiments a lot with different noises her mouth can make and it just cracks me up! Some of her favorite things to date: yogurt, playing with paper, pens, and bags, playing in her tent, riding her rocking horse, giving kisses, reading books, hitting her blocks together, bath time and being chased while crawling (among others). Some of her hates: Not being able to play with the tissues or the fireplace, getting dressed or her diaper changed, bedtime, any kind of textured food and being in her carseat. It's so much fun to watch her learn new things every day and know that her mind is hard at work, taking everything in around her.

Shawn left for Denver Thursday morning. He was stuck in Pheonix most of the day, waiting for a substitute plane, as his was missing some mechanical part (uh, kinda scary...). Why he had a lay over in Pheonix is beyond me... doesn't really seem like it's "on the way"! He finally made it safely to Denver by about 6pm (he left Seattle at 8am!) and he won't get back into Seattle until 9pm tonight. So it's been a lonely few days without him. Last night was super strange because KaeLee spent the night at Grandma's since I had to work at 5 this morning. I was all alone.... something that hasn't occured in a very long time... I, of course, wanted to go crazy and let my hair down, turn the music up and dance in my underwear.... but instead I went to bed at 9, knowing I had to get up early. BOO! So much for a night by myself, right? hahaha. It was strange to go to bed and not have the monitor on.... I actually woke up at 1am and turned it on because I was missing the humming and buzzing that comes from it. (yes, it's very noisy... I opted to go for the cheap one when making my purchase and got what I paid for! haha. owell)

Other than that, things are going good. I got a lot done in Hannah's room... STILL a long way to go! Hopefully I can finish soon so we can start painting! Shawn is excited to get back because he found information for a job for me that I can do from home. He's pretty excited about it... I'm pretty skeptical. We'll see. It'd be nice because I don't want to have to work after Hannah's born, and we could most likely squeeze by without me working, but the extra cash would be really nice so we can get some savings going for the girls (and ourselves...) My goal just be $500 a month... that doesn't seem so hard, does it? We'll see. I can't wait till we can refinance the house in the spring and save a few hundred a month! (we were going to this last spring but found we had a pre-payment penalty on our mortgage for the first 3 years....BOO!)

Anyway, not much else to write about. Whenever I think I don't have anything to write about, my blogs seem to get long anyway.... my deepest apologies to all those I have just bored! haha. I will write again soon, maybe something more exciting will happen...for now I should get back to work. Have a great weekend!
