Santa Picture finally posted!

Well, I am finally getting these pictures uploaded!! And they aren't even all the pictures I wanted to put up, but owell. Maybe later I'll finish! We have had computer issues the last few days, so sorry for the delay! What a busy week it's been!! I'm so glad it's Friday and I have the next 10 days off!!! YA-HOO!!!! Only today to get through! Last night was crazy busy at work.... I hope today is a little slower. I had to take my glucose test yesterday..... hopefully I don't have gestational diabetes! I'm sure I don't, but we'll find out Monday. Other than that, Hannah's appointment went well.... she's growing right along! And my goodness she is a mover!! I thought KaeLee moved a lot, but Hannah is a stinkin MONKEY! She's always poking and prodding at me.

KaeLee discovered my belly button the other day since it is sticking out now.... icky! I hate it when she tries to touch it, it makes me squirm and feel like puking! She also said her name the other day! She saw the left over pictures of herself that were sent out in Christmas cards and she squealed and said K-Lee! It was so cute!! She loves to look at herself, that's for sure. I gave her one of the pictures and she crawled around with it the rest of the night! She took her first step yesterday at daycare when I went to visit her! It was only 2 steps and it may have been a fluke, but she did it! She will definitely be walking in no time! She is cruising along furniture like it's nothing and standing on her own for very long periods of time, even while holding onto heavy items, such as her truck!

I can't wait till she can get back to her normal schedule! Having to work all week, means that KaeLee doesn't get a nap until after daycare when Shawn picks her up (not till 5:30!) So this means she has been up till about 10 every night! Ugh! That's way past my own bedtime! Did I ever mention that I am so tired of daycare?!?! haha.

Well, after work today, I get to finish Christmas shopping then come home and pack. I really wanted to get cookies made this week, but working till 6:30 every night hasn't really allowed much time for that! I'll be busy next week, that's for sure! We leave in the morning for Cashmere for Christmas with the Cox's. Oh, I guess that means I have some presents to wrap tonight too.... yeah, I'll be up for a while! We FINALLY get to pick up Shawn's truck! It's about time! It's only been.... 6 months! (actually, pretty sure it's been longer!)

Anyway, I should probably go get KaeLee and I ready to leave since we have about 25 minutes! I should probably feed her some breakfast too.... hmmm..... well, I will talk to you all soon.... have a FABULOUS weekend! only 6 days till Christmas!! YAY!! (well, 7 if you count today, I suppose....) Enjoy the pictures!

Santa is SCARY!

Wow! This weekend was a busy one!! And it was just as productive as I was hoping!

Friday night, we got our Christmas Tree!! YAY! It's about time! Though after putting on the lights, garland and ornaments, it seemed as though about a third of the tree was on the floor in needles! I don't know if it'll last until Christmas....! (shoot... which reminds me that I should probably water it!) We think it's a beautiful tree, though it's not nearly as large as last years. Note for next year: Get a noble fir. They are not as full, but their branches are strong and spaced out so you can see the ornaments more. I believe we told ourselves that last year as well, but still ended up with a douglas..... So far KaeLee hasn't gone near the tree, but she also hasn't had too many chances yet.

On Saturday, Shawn and I were planning to get out of the house early and do our Christmas shopping...... but KaeLee must have been able to sense this and she didn't wake up until 8:30! Ugh. She probably would have slept longer too, but I finally went into her room and "woke" her up by cleaning up her room. Hehehe. We dropped her off at my parents' house and faced the world of Christmas Shoppers. And boy was it busy out! We managed to get just about everything done! And we managed not to kill each other in the mean time! (Shawn and I don't usually do so well shopping together.... we have completely different strategies of shopping as most couples probably do!) We finally crashed at home for the rest of the night, completely exhausted from shopping! (I think we were out for just over 5 hours)

Sunday should have been a little more relaxing, but no luck there. Got lots done around the house (my back is still aching over the 8 loads of laundry!) Shawn put the rest of the Christmas yard decor out, we decorated the Christmas tree, ran a couple of errands, finished the Christmas cards (they are on their way as of today!), and went and saw Santa with KaeLee!! We thought this would be no big deal, as she is really good with strangers, but apparently Santa is scarier than any stranger she's ever seen! She would not get near him at all! Shawn tried first, then I gave it a whirl with her, but she would just cling onto you for dear life the closer you got to him. It was kinda funny. We tried to have her watch the other kids and watch Santa from afar and she got to the point where she was waving and smiling at him, so we got in line and tried again. Nope. She wasn't having it! So I had to be in the picture with her (oh, how I love that...) and she clung to me and squirmed.... but we got a picture. If you watch the Ellen Degeneres show, it would belong in her "Bad Paid For Photos" segment. Haha. I will post pictures tonight, hopefully.... I am at work right now. I was trying to turn her around for the picture to at least look at the camera, but you can see in the picture that she would not let go of my shirt.... good thing I had a tank top on! Maybe next year will be better..... though it'll be Hannah's turn to freak out. :)

Well, this week will hopefully fly by! I have to work all week (ugh!) but then I get 10 days off! YAY!! And Shawn has the week after off. Bad planning on our part, but at least we won't have to pay for daycare for a couple weeks! Things to do this week: Finish last minute gift shopping, wrap gifts, pack for the weekend, bake some cookies and other holiday treats and plan my menu for Christmas dinners. Oh, and we'll try to throw in a couple Christmas movies! (why not, right!) I'd love to get out to a movie or dinner with Shawn, but it may have to wait till after Christmas. Hey.... if you need any gift ideas, a night out for us without KaeLee would be a GREAT one!! We are in need of it! (especially after how cranky and whiny she was yesterday!)

Well, I think I have made this quite long enough.... I will post some pictures tonight (hopefully) from the weekend. My stomach is growling so I better go eat some breakfast! yummy! OH MY GOODNESS!!

I can't believe it's already this close to Christmas! It has come so fast..... we're not even done decorating the house yet! It's jsut about there, but we're waiting on the tree. Ugh. It'd be so much easier if we just had the truck back already.... it's been since April.... my goodness!! Shawn doesn't want to put the tree on top of the car, so we are waiting till Friday to borrow his boss's Suburban.

It's been a yucky week, with all of us sick still. KaeLee has not slept through the night for the last week and a half now. Poor thing. And this just means that I don't get to sleep through the night either. And Shawn has been sleeping on the couch because he says I've been moaning and coughing so much. Well, I am not aware of these lies, but IF I am, it's because I am horribly sick and coughing a lot, causing me lots of pain in my insides.... which is probably causing me to moan..... hahaha.... So needless to say, we are all sleep deprived and cranky. Merry Christmas and HoHoHo. Or Bah Humbug? hahaha...

Not really looking forward to this next week either.... didn't I say a couple weeks ago that I wasn't looking forward to the next 3 weeks? Well, next week is week 3! It's just icing on the cake that we're all sick! YIPEE!!! This weekend has GOT to be productive because I need to finish Christmas shopping! I only have Tuesday off next week and I will be watching Hayden... so I can't really go shopping that day and then we head up to Cashmere on Saturday to begin a week of Christmas festivities!

But I can say that Hannah's room is officially painted now!! Whoo-Hoo! At least that's one thing on my list that I can cross off. (though it really didn't need to be done before Christmas shopping.... haha) I am procrasting WAY too much this year with everything. I just bought Christmas cards today, so I need to start filling those out..... we were going to do a photo card of KaeLee from Costco but never took a picture of her.... so it's traditional cards instead. I guess I should start filling those out tonight, eh?

Well, on the up side of things, KaeLee is starting to stand on her own so much!! She tries so hard to just stand up from a sitting position on the floor. I know she will be walking in no time. When she first started crawling, Shawn and I took guesses as to when she would start walking. He said 10 months and I said by Christmas..... So far Shawn is way off.... but I have 18 days left!! Go KaeLee Go!!

For her first birthday, we will be throwing a big bash at the house. I am not sure what weekend we will do it though. I wanted to do it the 23rd and 24th, but just got my schedule for work and that is the one weekend I work. So I will either try to switch weekends or make it for the weekend after her birthday. So plan on coming.... no gifts required, we are just going to eat a lot and watch her enjoy her first bite of dessert!

Well, I know there were a lot of things I was going to blog about, but this blog has taken about 3 hours to complete since I am doing it at work. So I am not too sure if this blog even flows good.... I've just been adding to it as I have time. But now we are right in the middle of dinner and even though I am an awesome multi-tasker, this is just way too hard! So I will post again soon if I remember what I was trying to say.... Have a good night!
