Sorry it's been so long!

I apologize for such a delay between posts! I have been finding myself pretty busy lately. Let's see.... since I posted last, Shawn and the girls went to Cashmere for Megan graduation party, the next weekend we went to Camano for Christina's graduation, and this weekend was Father's Day.

Shawn braved Cashmere with both girls a couple of weeks ago. I wasn't too worried since I knew there would be lots of family around to help. I know that those two can be a handful! I wasn't able to go because I had to work. I was secretly kind of looking forward to coming home to an empty house. I had many plans of things I needed and wanted to get done while the girls weren't there. Did any of them get done? Nope, not one. After work on Saturday, I went to dinner with my parents and brothers at Red Robin, then I went back to their house to play "Would you rather". If you have never played this game before, don't bother. It's a horrible game. And it you have played it before, I'm sorry. We laughed a lot, but it was not a very well thought out game at all and it was just stupid. Then I went home and went to bed. Instead of getting anything done the next morning, I took advantage of an empty house and slept in a bit. So I got up, got ready and went to work. When I got home, the girls were home and I got absolutely nothing done. Oh well.

Shawn said the girls had a great time. (yes, I believe he did, as well....) :) I have some pictures for you that he took. It looks like they both had fun. I wish I could have been there!

The next weekend we went to Camano Island for Christina's graduation. I was dreading the drive, because I remember the first time we went over there with KaeLee, and this time we had two of them! But I was pleasantly surprised at how well they both did the WHOLE way over there! We didn't have to stop once on our 3 1/2 hour trip! WOW! KaeLee even woke up about halfway there and she was very good the whole time! Hannah just slept the whole way.

We had lots of fun over there and I know the girls did too. They were quite spoiled! KaeLee liked hanging out with all the older girls and took quite the attachment to Lucy! Hannah was pretty content with whoever was holding her, and fell asleep in quite a weird position with Grandpa John. Please see picture below...

Last week was pretty busy. On Wednesday, I hosted our playgroup's first meeting! It was quite a success, I believe. We had 2- 10 month olds, 2- 1 year olds (KaeLee and Hayden) and then Hannah. This week I think it will be a little bigger. We are expecting 3- 10 month olds (Kalli, Grayson and Teegan), KaeLee, 1- almost 2 year old (Nathanial) 2- 2 year olds (Aiden and Layla) and then Hannah and 2 "soon-to-be" babies. So 8 little ones including Hannah. It should be a pretty full house. I am quite excited for it! I am making Zucchini bread today for it and washing up Strawberries and Pineapple and making a preztel berry dessert. Mmmmmm..... I am more excited for the food I think..... haha.

I had to work Thursday Friday and Saturday this week. I got a new babysitter for the girls and she came over for Thursday and Friday. She's my Godmother's daughter. She is in her third year at WSU in the nursing program. She is home for the summer and was looking for something to do.... so I put her to work. Though she claims it's not work. She says they're easy. Which I'm sure they are with anyone else. They just think they can act up around me apparently. Whatever. I think KaeLee really liked her though. When she came over Friday, KaeLee was eating breakfast in her highchair and she got pretty excited to see her. Although, when Shawn came home Thursday to relieve her, KaeLee went and got Molly's shoes and brought them to her. Haha. That's pretty funny. I guess she knew it was time for her to go.... haha. This Friday my mom wanted to watch them, but Molly will be back next Friday, so I'm sure KaeLee will be excited again.

Sunday was Father's Day and we pretty much just hung around the house. It was actually a really nice and relaxing... morning... haha. We went to Red Robin for lunch with the girls. Our first restaurant experience with both of the girls! It went pretty well. I'm glad it wasn't supposed to be a quiet restaurant because KaeLee has only one volume control: LOUD! Ugh. She kept dropping her crayons and I had to keep picking them up. She wasn't doing it on purpose though, they would just sort of roll off the table. If she was doing it on purpose, I would definitely NOT have picked them up for her! She got kinda whinny, but it went pretty well overall. I was hoping Hannah would fall asleep in the car and sleep the whole time. Well, she fell asleep in the car, but she woke up as soon as we got there and stayed awake, just looking around the whole time. Right at the end, she started getting pretty restless though. We got out just in time.

Later, we went up to my mom's house for dinner. My Grandpa and my Aunt and uncle and brother came over too. We went outside for a while and KaeLee found the rocks. She is fascinated by rocks apparently. I guess all kids are.

Monday night, Shawn and I went and looked at a couple of mini-vans. We found a couple we liked, one in particular. We went in to start some paperwork on it and get an appraisel for what they would give us for the truck and Shawn's car. It took forever and they finally gave us a number 1,997. Yup. For both of them! I could hardley believe it! So we quickly said forget it and we are now trying to sell them and then we will get a van as soon as we sell them both.

I had a migraine the whole time during this car shopping trip and it was absolutely killing me! But I was trying to just push through it. We grabbed a bite to eat and it got way worse. I decided I would try to go get the girls and go home. But as soon as I got to my moms to get them, I had to run to the bathroom. At this point, I knew it had gotten way too bad and I had to call Shawn to come get us. we almost made it home, but Shawn had to pull over for me..... icky. To make it worse, some lady was outside watching me. She probably thought I was totally drunk or something. I used to get migraines a lot, but haven't really for a while. When I get them, the only thing that helps is taking some pills, laying down in a dark, quiet room with a cold rag on my head and going to sleep. So this is what I did. Shawn took care of the girls and put them to bed and I got about 10 hours of sleep and woke up feeling brand new.

Anyway.... that pretty much sums up the last few weeks. I don't know if anything else happend or not. Well, I did start dong time-out with KaeLee and it actually seems to be going pretty good. She had time out twice on Monday and once today. It took her about 7 times walking her back to time out before she finally stayed there for her full minute, but the time I did it today, I only had to walk her back to time out twice. So that was pretty exciting. And afterwards, she goes and gives Hannah a kiss (today it was Kalli) and says sorry. (She was banging them on the head with toys, hence the reason for time out....) She is really a very smart girl and will hopefully someday be a well behaved girl.... ;)

Well, they are both sleeping right now, so i am going to go fix myself some lunch while I have the chance... talk to you later! Enjoy the pictures!! We really do have the 2 cutest little girls in the world!

KaeLee is really good at stacking up her blocks! She knows which one goes next and recognizes if it's the wrong one! She's so smart! :)

Hannah loves laying under this toy! You can see her unfortunate bow legs really well in this picture... Sorry Hannah! You got that from the Beaudry side.

I think she knows she's super cute....

She was "Jumping" up after she would sit down! It was quite hilarious.... I love this expression!

What a poser!

Me and KaeLee with Chrissy and Chase, my cousin who now lives in Oklahoma. Chase is only 2 months younger than KaeLee. It was so great to see them again! Wish they didn't live so far away! (Kate is her daughter too, if you can't tell by the resemblance alone...)

Kate has a VERY infectious laugh!
